Fit N Fun provides everything required for soccer and basketball. If a kid shows keen interest in either of these two sports, we recommend that you get your child his/her own ball. For basketball we strongly recommend kneepads or at least long pants.
We provide everything required for t-ball class. However, if your child has his/her own bat and mitt you are welcome to bring those. For safety we recommend a soft, lightweight foamy bat.
Kids who want to participate in our tiny tot golf class are required to bring their own golf clubs - drivers, irons and putters. For ease-of-use and safety we recommend ultra lightweight clubs. Fit N Fun provides everything else required for golf and t-ball. Please click the Schedule & Registration menu at the top of this page. Parents are not required to be present, but we highly recommend that children be accompanied by an adult (parent, family member, guardian or caregiver). For one thing, kids need encouragement and support; but more importantly, coaches need help with things like taking a child to the bathroom! Eight weeks. Classes are held once a week for eight weeks. A child enrolled in our Monday soccer class will attend eight consecutive soccer classes, once a week every Monday for eight weeks. No, we do not. If a child is unable to attend class due to illness or other unforeseen events, Fit N Fun will issue a credit or transfer that will be good for the same session or for an upcoming one. The fee is $80.00 per child per class ($83.00 for online payment) for an eight-week session. A full refund will be issued only under one condition:
If Fit N Fun or the Parks and Recreation Department of The City of Rancho Palos Verdes cancel an entire session (eight weeks of classes) due to some unforeseen reason. Our classes are held in a very cheerful, casual and fun atmosphere. The whole idea is to have fun, learn basic skills and play team sports together. Kids can wear anything that is comfortable and appropriate for the sporting event and whether condition.
